LCHE leaders are excited about a great new school year beginning. We know many have already started homeschooling for the year. Remember to send your letter of intent to the superintendent if you have not already done so. We hope you are energized and ready to have a wonderful year. What a rewarding experience it is to be able to teach our own children. Pray that we will continue to have that freedom.

LCHE will have our first parent meeting for the year on Monday, September 8th at 6:30 PM. Please make plans to attend. If you have been a member of our group in the past we would love to see you again so come out and visit. If you have friends who homeschool or are interested bring them too. Bring your favorite record keeping item and a copy of the Best Practice Document if you have one.

The first day of Co-op is Tuesday, September 9th. Arrive before 8:45 am. We are excited about our new co-op year. Co-op is a wonderful experience for students as well as parents. Lots of classes are planned including band, drama, geography, history, robotics and much more. Thanks to Emily McElfresh for planning our family picnic held at the Coon Range Fish and Game Club last week. Everyone enjoyed it. There was lots of great food and fun!  Fishing, Archery, board games, airsoft, bubbles, horseshoes and much more was going on. Hopefully we can do this again soon.
