Who We Are
Logan County Home Educators (LCHE) is a group that serves Logan, Todd and surrounding counties in south central Kentucky. We are available to give information to families considering parent directed education or those new to the area.
Our support group offers many opportunities for homeschoolers in the community, including parent meetings, a weekly learning co-operative, field trips, Yahoo Loop with calendar and activity reminders, parties and dinners, a year book, presentation nights, special activities for parents and children, academic fair, Iowa Testing [biannually], end of year celebration including presentations and graduation, Scholastic Book Club, a membership card for both parents and students (upon request), etc.
A complete list of activities including dates can be obtained by joining the support group. Membership is $20 per year August through July. To join, complete the membership application and a notarized medical release form for each of your children and mail to the LCHE president (contact info) along with a check for $20. We also accept funds through Paypal.
